Join us as Saks Fifth
Avenue proudly hosts an elegant evening of couture
fashion featuring the designs of Carmen Marc
Valvo. As a colon cancer survivor, Carmen uses
fashion as a platform to educate about the importance of colon
cancer screening and options for early detection. Carmen's designs
have been worn by some of the world's most recognized women,
including Katie Couric, Kate Winslet, Vanessa Williams, and
Catherine Zeta-Jones.
The fashion event is being sponsored by

of Susie's Cause will be on Friday April 16, 2010. Last year
Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley officially proclaimed April as
National Colon Cancer Screen Month. Ticket information will be

The
Colon Cancer Foundation was founded in 2004, and received 501(c) (3)
status on January 19, 2005. The President of the Foundation, David
Rodman Cohan, an international business attorney, vigorously
launched this Foundation after the tragic loss of his daughter Susan
Cohan to colon cancer. Susan is survived by her two young
children.
The
Susan Cohan Colon Cancer Foundation will work to eliminate colon
cancer as a life threatening disease through the development and
dissemination of educational programs focused on prevention, early
screening and detection, and aggressive therapeutic
intervention. To
