Social Networking and Colon Cancer Prevention
The Susan Cohan Colon Cancer Foundation has successfully launched
the most aggressive Colon Cancer prevention campaign in history.
Social Media is providing the platform to expand our Foundation
reach to over 300 million users worldwide daily with information
on colon cancer prevention, treatment and support.
The Foundation is utilizing Facebook, Twitter, Google
Profile, Idealist.org, LinkedIn, and many other resources to touch both
medical professionals and the general public worldwide. By reaching
people where they are already interacting online, we now have
the ability to reach millions of men and women around the world,
save thousands of lives, and provide comfort and support to those
in need. Growing our online presence helps to establish The Foundation
as the leading resource for colon cancer education and support.

5K Family Run/Walk which will be held for the first time in
Towson, Maryland just outside Baltimore. You can directly support
this work by registering to participate.

The Colon Cancer Foundation was founded in 2004, and received
501(c) (3) status on January 19, 2005. The President of the Foundation,
David Rodman Cohan, an international business attorney, vigorously
launched this Foundation after the tragic loss of his daughter
Susan Cohan to colon cancer. Susan is survived by her two young
children.
The Susan Cohan Colon Cancer Foundation will work to eliminate
colon cancer as a life threatening disease through the development
and dissemination of educational programs focused on prevention,
early screening and detection, and aggressive therapeutic intervention.
